Important: Road Closure Notice

Friday July 1st, 2011 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE
Lakeshore Rd.  Closed from Stavebank to Hurontario: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Lakeshore Rd. Closed from Hurontario to Seneca : 10am – 2:00pm

Cars parked along the Parade Route will be towed to Elmwood Parking lot. This is a friendly, no-charge tow that will begin at 10am.


Giant Cake-Cutting Ceremony

After the parade Lakeshore will be closed between Hwy 10 and Seneca from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

There will be  bands playing, clowns, balloons and lots of fun for the whole family.  When you get to La Villa Bakery (Lakeshore Road and Wenonah).

Chuck Jackson and the All Star Band will be entertaining you, there will be lots of treats, cookies, watermelons, and the world's largest Canada Day Cake! 



Also joining the festivities will be our Grand Marshalls Mike Holmes from Holmes on Holmes and Francis DeSousa from City TV. Dignitaries from different levels of Government and delegates from the Miss Canada Pageant will also be attending. 

So come out onto Lakeshore and party like never before!
