Mayor McCallion Gets In The Spirit Mayor McCallion rallies the onlookers with a rousing Canada Day speech!
O Canada! There's nothing like the National Anthem to start the day with a bang — and the fireworks at nightfall make it even better!

Great news for the kids - we're going to have plenty of floats, marchingg bands and fun characters in the Port Credit Canada Day Parade - and we're happy to announce a couple of special guests: Max & Ruby!

Thanks to our good friends at Westaire, Max & Ruby will be in Port Credit on July 1st - come by and say hello!

It is with great honour that I serve as Port Credit's Paint the Town Red - Canada Day Chairman. My involvement in the festival over the past eight years has been an exciting challenge and I once again look forward to sharing a fun and inspiring event for the entire community to enjoy.

The most notable change for this year's Canada Day celebration will be the addition of the Port Credit 175 Anniversary celebrations and the giant parade. The joint committees have worked extremely hard to organize the very best in activities and live entertainment throughout the entire day.

I would like to personally thank all members of our planning committees for their involvement and dedication to making the 2010 celebration a total success. We have a truly exceptional team of volunteers committed to delivering a day that will be memorable.

There isn't a better place for you and your family to be for celebration, entertainment, activity, fun, and most of all, to reflect on how lucky we are to be Canadian. So come celebrate Canada’s Birthday and Port Credit's 175th Anniversary with us - we are excited to see each and every one of you!!

Sincerely,

John Bozzo, Chair
